Maritime Cranes

Floating Islands

Liebherr Barge Slewing Cranes (LBS) are autonomous units that
require no harbour area at all and can be operated anywhere in the harbour water area.

  • Flexibility to handle container,
dry bulk, general cargo and heavy
    lift with just one crane
  • Unreached visibility and safety
across the whole working area due to
    outstanding operator cabin heights

    Precision meets Power

Two Liebherr Heavy Lift Ship Cranes CBB 4700-450 help three LHM 550 on their way
from our maritime home base in Rostock/Germany to their new operation area in Italy.
It isn't as easy as it looks like.

    Impressions of a Giant

In early 2016 the Board Offshore Crane, type BOS 35000 has been assembled on the heavy lift barge Giant 7
at the Liebherr production site in Rostock/Germany. Since that time, the crane has proven its power and quality
during several heavy lifts at the Baltic Sea.

    More than Cranes

Located at the shore of the Baltic Sea in Rostock/Germany, the production site
is manufacturing the full range of maritime cranes, from mobile harbour cranes
to ship cranes and from reachstackers to offshore cranes.
